Mike Sheffield

Mike Sheffield was born in Charleston, Mississippi and spent his early years growing up in Arkansas. He moved with his family to Alva, Oklahoma where he graduated from high school and then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and played football. Mr. Sheffield obtained his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University in 1978 and then moved to Amarillo to join his friend, Tim Hoffman, at the firm of Smith & Gerald. Mr. Sheffield became a partner at Smith, Gerald & Sheffield but left to join Tim Hoffman and form the partnership of Hoffman & Sheffield in 1982.

Mr. Sheffield has spent his 30 plus years as a lawyer representing victims of car and truck accidents, medical malpractice, and other acts of negligence for whom he has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. He is married and has two daughters.
